When you complete a consultation and receive an estimated graft count, that usually means the number of follicular units. We keep our follicular units intact - meaning we do NOT split them into individual hairs. Keeping natural hair groupings of 1-5 hairs allows for a more natural result and better blood flow to the newly transplanted follicular units/grafts.
BUT keep in mind, not every clinic keeps these intact, and they may ‘split’ the follicular units. This means you are only getting single hairs packed closer together, which can look unnatural and compromise blood flow.
Our goal is to optimize your result and keep your transplant looking as natural as possible.
