Botox, Dysport & Jeuveau
At Opulence Chicago we offer three different forms of neuromodulators, most commonly referred to as Botox or tox.
Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau are crafted from a purified form of Botulinum toxin. These neurotoxins temporarily halt the muscle activity that causes lines and wrinkles to form when you make facial expressions, such as smiling, squinting and frowning.
Results from these injections approximately last three to four months, with appropriate dosing.

How often is treatment recommended?
Every person is different and everyone can metabolize the product differently. Opulence Chicago recommends treatment every three to four months. Consistent treatment has shown to soften etched-in lines over time and can help prevent new lines and wrinkles from forming.
Getting ready for your appointment
- Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen or alcohol 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to minimize the chance of bruising.
- Avoid vigorous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid makeup for the remainder of the treatment day.
- Do not lie down for three to four hours after treatment.
- Avoid facials, massages and facial manipulation for two weeks after treatment.
Dermal Fillers
As we age, we start to lose small amounts of volume in our faces. This process begins as early as our thirties. One solution to address this is dermal filler.
The types of filler used at Opulence Chicago are made of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance our bodies produce naturally. When placed strategically in the face, filler is meant to restore volume and provide underlying support to the skin.
Filler is never meant to be one-size-fits-all. All new filler clients receive a comprehensive consultation before moving forward with a service.

Biostimulants
Biostimulants are a category of injectable treatments that can help prevent the signs of aging by stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.
Sculptra
Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved facial injectable treatment that helps boost the skin’s own natural collagen production to restore its inner structure.
Sculptra is different from hyaluronic-acid fillers because it helps treat an underlying cause of facial volume loss: the reduction of collagen.
Radiesse
Radiesse and Radiesse Plus are dermal fillers that are FDA-approved to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds and correct volume loss in the back of the hands.
Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite suspended in an aqueous gel carrier. Its particles form a scaffold that stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin.
PRP & PRF
Both services are a natural approach to skin rejuvenation, collagen production and wound healing.
Using your own blood, different components are separated out and then re-injected to provide growth factors and promote regenerative properties in the skin and hair.
PRP and PRF are popularly used to tighten and brighten skin under the eyes, stimulate hair growth in areas of thinning and support recovery following collagen-induction treatments such as microneedling.

What is PRP versus PRF?
Platelet-rich plasma is also known as PRP. Platelets are rich in growth factors needed for wound healing. PRF contains more blood components and acts more like a natural filler.
What is the downtime?
For PRP or PRF injections in the face, particularly under the eyes, patients may experience mild swelling for two to four days.
Kybella
If you’re unhappy with the appearance of your profile as a result of fullness under your chin, you may be a candidate for Kybella.
Kybella injections work to enhance the contours of the chin by destroying existing fat cells in the treatment area. Most patients require multiple sessions for optimal contouring.
How long do results last?
Results from Kybella are permanent. Multiple treatments over several months may be needed to achieve optimal results.
What is the recovery?
Most patients experience swelling in the treatment area for five to seven days. The area may remain firm, tender or lumpy for several weeks as the body removes the broken-down fat cells.
PDO Threads
A thread lift is a procedure in which temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible lift in the skin.
Instead of removing loose facial skin surgically, threads suspend small sections of skin. This pulls the skin back slightly, creating a lifting and tightening effect.
In addition to lifting the skin, threads prompt the body’s healing response and direct collagen to the treated areas.
Skinvive
Skinvive by Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid injectable designed to improve skin smoothness in the cheeks. It creates a smoother, more hydrated-looking finish.
Filler Dissolving
Filler dissolving is used to reduce or remove existing hyaluronic acid filler. A consultation helps determine whether dissolving is the right next step.
