How much notice is required to cancel or reschedule?

Opulence Chicago requires 24 hours' notice for all appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide notice results in a $75 fee.

What happens if I am late?

Please call 312.340.5948 if you are running late. Opulence Chicago offers a 10-minute grace period. After 10 minutes, your treatment is not guaranteed and your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Can children come to appointments?

Children under 16 are not permitted in treatment rooms or left unattended in the waiting area. Clients ages 16–17 require consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must also be present during the consultation and first appointment.

What is the product return policy?

Products may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days.

Injectables

What are Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau?

Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau are neurotoxins derived from purified botulinum toxin. They temporarily reduce the muscle activity that causes expression lines and wrinkles. With appropriate dosing, results last approximately three to four months.

How often are neurotoxin treatments recommended?

Everyone metabolizes neurotoxin differently, but Opulence Chicago generally recommends treatment every three to four months. Consistent treatment may soften lines already etched into the skin and help prevent new lines from developing.

What areas can be treated with neurotoxin?

Lines between the brows, forehead lines and crow's feet
Frown muscles, chin and neck bands
Masseters for facial slimming and TMJ symptoms
Underarms for excessive sweating
Trapezius muscles for tension

How should I prepare for a neurotoxin appointment?

To help minimize bruising, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen and alcohol for 24–48 hours before treatment. Following your appointment:

Avoid vigorous exercise for 24 hours
Avoid makeup for the remainder of the day
Do not lie down for three to four hours
Avoid facials, treatments, massage and facial manipulation for two weeks

What is dermal filler?

The dermal fillers used at Opulence Chicago are made with hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally produced by the body. The gel is placed strategically to restore volume and support the skin. Treatment areas may include the lips, cheeks, smile lines, jawline, under eyes, chin and fine lines around the mouth.

All new filler clients receive a comprehensive consultation before treatment to discuss expectations, recovery and long-term goals.

What is BBL?

BBL stands for BroadBand Light. The treatment uses light energy to gently heat the upper layers of the skin and stimulate skin cells. It can address concerns including sun and age spots, redness, rosacea, fine lines, uneven texture, acne and acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and unwanted hair.

Do new BBL clients need a consultation?

Yes. New BBL clients are required to schedule a 30-minute consultation before treatment. The Opulence Chicago team will review candidacy and treatment preparation during that visit.

What should I expect after a BBL treatment?

The skin may appear pink for 24–48 hours. A rough texture and mild flaking may follow for a few days.
