Sciton BBL
BBL stands for BroadBand Light. It delivers controlled light energy to the upper layers of the skin and is commonly used for redness, sun damage, pigmentation and uneven texture.

Who is a candidate?
Light to medium skin tones are generally the most appropriate candidates for BBL. Opulence Chicago may recommend Lutronic Ultra for tanned or darker skin tones.
Treatment areas and recommendations
Common areas include the face, neck, décolleté, back, arms and hands. Opulence Chicago typically recommends a series of three to five treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, although some patients may notice a change after one or two treatments.
Lutronic Ultra
Lutronic Ultra is a non-ablative fractional resurfacing laser operating at a 1927 nm wavelength. Treatment is customized around the patient’s skin and individual goals.

What should I expect?
A full-face treatment can be completed in under ten minutes after the skin is prepared. Opulence Chicago notes that patients may appear pink for 24 to 48 hours, followed by rough texture and mild flaking for several days.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy to target hair follicles. Pricing is based on the size and location of the treatment area.

Zenoti lists individual areas as small, medium or large services. Choose the closest area in the booking menu, or contact Opulence Chicago if you are unsure which option applies.
How to prepare
- Schedule a 30-minute consultation before treatment.
- Use the recommended ALASTIN pretreatment products for two weeks.
- Avoid sun exposure for two weeks and wear broad-spectrum SPF daily.
- Avoid antibiotics, self-tanners, gradual tanners and retinols for two weeks.
- Avoid injectables and invasive skincare treatments for two weeks.
